Everyone Gets a Job in Hamden

Hamden’s Department of Economic Development and Neighborhood Revitalization announces a new series in 2019. Titled “Everyone Gets a Job; Exploring Career and Technical Educational Opportunities”. This series will be focused on the workforce readiness of Hamden residents, particularly children entering or leaving middle school and entering high school. The series will include workshops on the job opportunities in the major economic sectors in Hamden and the region.

  • Science, Engineering Technology and Math (STEM)
  • Information Technology: Coding, HTML and Artificial intelligence
  • Sustainability and Environmental Science
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Job Readiness (Internships, Appearance, Interview Skills), Financial Literacy, and Student Debt

Information sessions will be held:

Thurs. Jan 24th  – Senior Center Social Hall  (Healthcare Jobs) –
Tuesday, Feb. 5th – Miller Library’s Friends Room (STEM Jobs) –

Both sessions begin at 6:30 p.m.
