Computer Classes

These free classes will be held in the Friends Room at Miller Memorial Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden. The library will provide laptop computers for use in the class but you are free to bring your own computer as well. Registration is required as class size is limited. Microsoft Excel: Introduction to Tables and Pivot Tables
This course is designed to provide an overview on creating using Tables in Microsoft Excel 2013. You will learn how to create, format and use Excel tables.
It is strongly recommended that you have some prior experience with Excel’s basic features.
The library will provide laptop computers for use in the class but you are free to bring your own computer as well.

Microsoft Excel: Introduction to Formulas
This course is designed to provide an overview of formulas and functions in Microsoft Excel 2013; topics covered include the formula/function syntax, cell referencing, basic mathematical functions and a brief introduction to IF statements.
Prior experience with basic Excel features is strongly recommended, as is a good grasp of basic computer skills.
The library will provide laptop computers for use in the class but you are free to bring your own computer as well.
