A Hamden Public Library card offers access to a world of digital resources — including e-books, e-audiobooks and online magazines. The Library also offers remote database for research and online learning for adults, teens and children.
Don’t have a library card? Hamden residents can sign up for a card online. Please allow 24 hours for us to process your registration. A staff member will contact you with your barcode number so you can access all our online resources.

email you with your card number, and you will be able to use your account to access all our online resources. Your temporary account will be good through July 1st, 2020.
To receive a permanent card, you will need to visit the Hamden Library when the buildings reopen to verify your name and address. At that time, you will receive a permanent library card with a three year expiration date.
