Head Nurse, State of Connecticut
The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is recruiting for a part-time Head Nurse, in the West Region at the Northwest Regional Center (NWC), located at 195 Alvord Park Road, Torrington, CT 06790.

This is a 60% part-time, 42 hours per pay period position. The work schedule is as follows:

Week One: Monday & Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (17 hours)
 
Week Two: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ; Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (25 hours)
However, must be flexible in order to meet the needs of the agency.
Thirty (30) minute unpaid meal break with each shift.
Requirements for this position:
  • Must have a current valid motor vehicle operator’s license
  • Will be required to travel
  • Current valid Registered Nursing license

Supervising Nurse Consultant, State of Connecticut
The State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services (DSS) is recruiting for a Supervising Nurse Consultant for the Division of Health Services, in the Medical Policy and Consultation Unit, located at 55 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT 06105. This full-time (40 hour per week) first shift position has a Monday through Friday schedule.
This position supports the Division of Health Services (DHS) Medical Director in providing clinical leadership in the development, implementation, review and evolution of care delivery interventions and quality metrics for the proposed slate of new value-based payment arrangements in HUSKY Health including:
  • Primary care
  • Hospital-based projects
  • Maternity bundle
Playing an integral role in improving health equity and population health for HUSKY Health members, which is a major focus area for DHS, this position will help provide clinical input and oversight to various programs related to the DHS.
